District Network Account
Each staff member will be provided a username and password that you will use to logon to such things as district computers, email, filters, etc. If you are not sure what your account information is please contact the help desk at 818-736-7078.
Please note: When logging onto a computer for the first time users must logon in district before trying to logon outside of the district. This initial logon will cache the profile and allow users to logon to the device when not on site.
If you have trouble logging on with your account or need to change your password please contact the help desk.
Staff and students are provided Google accounts and you will utilize your district username and password when logging on to your Google account.
Please note that when logging on users must use the full email address. For the Google accounts the full address is firstname.lastname@example.org. Staff members must also use the @student.lps53.org.
Staff members should also refer to this page for forwarding email sent by students to the teachers Google account.

YouTube for schools is a service that allows each District to approve individual videos or entire channels for student use. When a teacher views a video it will let categorize the video as approved or unapproved. View the tutorial to learn more about YouTube and allowing video access.
